Default Calibration Settings
Recommended baseline settings for NQ/MNQ on the 5-minute timeframe. Find these in the FSD-X ORB PRO indicator settings panel on TradingView.
| Setting | Recommended Value | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| ORB Start Time | 8:30 AM CT | Hard-anchored to Central Time in the source code. Keep this at 8:30 regardless of your local chart timezone — the indicator handles the conversion automatically. |
| VWAP Alignment Filter | ON (Strict) | Breakouts are ignored if price isn't on the correct side of VWAP. This is a core quality filter — leaving it on keeps you aligned with session flow. |
| Realistic Trade Tracking | ON | Prevents inflated win rate stats. The dashboard won't log a second trade until the first one resolves at TP or SL — keeps your data honest. |
| Stop Loss Range | 50 Min / 150 Max pts | The hybrid SL engine uses both structure and ATR to size stops. These bounds act as safety rails — stops won't go tighter than 50 pts or wider than 150 pts. |
| Minimum ORB Filter | 45 pts | Skips setups when the opening range is too tight to produce meaningful breakouts. Anything below 45 points on MNQ typically produces false signals. |
| Min Grade to Trade | C or better | The grading system scores each setup A+ through F. For best results focus on A+/A/B+ trades. C and above is the minimum threshold to consider entering. |
